The CIRCLE represents
the SOLIDARITY and UNITY of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group
(CIDG) as an organization.
The EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE
is taken from the FIELD OF HONOR of the National Flag and is rooted from
the war standards of the early Katipunan.
The three STARS represent
the three (3) major territorial subdivisions of the Philippines -- LUZON,
VISAYAS, and MINDANAO -- the nationwide jurisdiction of CIDG.
The SCALE is the universal
symbol for JUSTICE and EQUALITY before the law.
The acronym PNP stands for
Philippine National Police -- the Mother Organization to which the CIDG
is a proud member of.
The colors are from the national
flag: WHITE for PURITY; BLUE for FREEDOM; and RED for BRAVERY. "WE SEEK
THE TRUTH" is the motto of the CIDG. |
